I'm a design leader who builds visually expressive products and the teams behind them.

My career has focused on up-leveling the craft of designers and the quality of product experiences. I came up as a visual designer, which means I care about brand showing up in product, about the details, about making things feel considered. Lately I've been focused on what comes next, building UI systems designed for a world where humans and AI agents build tasteful UI together.

I've spent the last decade leading design systems work at Expedia, Dropbox, and Block, where I unified Cash App and Square's systems into a single foundation. I've also advised startups and smaller teams on getting their systems off the ground.

I thrive in strategic, player-coach roles on cross-functional teams. Building visual language and design infrastucture means building a shared language between human and agentic builders. When that language is clear, teams move faster and quality goes up.
